Dr. Teodulo Aves

Dr. Aves was born in Manila, Philippines. He attended St. Louis University and shortly after graduated from Washington University – St. Louis Medical School. Dr. Aves went on to complete his residency in Anesthesiology at The University of Texas in 1993. After, he joined the faculty of The University of Texas and served as the assistant director, he also served as chief of Neuroanesthesiology at Memorial Hermann Hospital and later became a Pain Management Specialist and founded Upstanding Pain And Spine. Dr. Aves has been in private practice since 1996, providing care for patients in Pain Management and Anesthesia.

Treatments Offered

The 1960 Family Practice Pain Management Clinic offers epidural injections both with and without steroids. Many times these injections can be more effective than oral medications, lessening the need for anti-inflammatory drugs or narcotics. Our team is also skilled in utilizing sympathetic blocks, radio frequency neuroablation, and neurostimulation.
